We offer a number of interesting and unique opportunities for volunteers to get involved. Below are just some of our current volunteer opportunities.
Administration If you are interested in building your professional skills in an office setting, we need you. Whether assisting staff on preparing letters for community-wide mailings, or simply filing important documents, your help is needed!
Special Events As a special event volunteer you have an exclusive opportunity to participate behind-the-scenes on one of our many exciting events including exhibit openings, fundraisers or hosted receptions.
Outreach Volunteers can help represent ExplorOcean at local community events and venues speaking to the public about our offerings in education programs, activities and special events. A fun afternoon commitment for outgoing volunteers!
Education Programs Whether you are helping local pre-schoolers with arts and crafts during our Sea Tales program or conducting science experiments on our boat field-trip, Climate Quest, or joining the Explorer Squad, there are endless ways to contribute to our goal of providing enriching and fun educational experiences for all members of our community.
