Family Fun Zone Fridays brings the nostalgic family entertainment back to the Balboa Fun Zone. Visitors will enjoy a mix of hands on activities, interactive programs and live entertainment that will connect them to the living museum in their backyard. Activities include: science experiments, arts and crafts, carnival games and contests. Immerse yourself into history while entering our galleries, filled with local Newport Beach history, our esteemed ship model collection and embark on the Extraordinary Explorers gallery. Throughout the evening guests will enjoy a variety of entertainment such as live music, face painters and jugglers. Don’t miss out on special discounts at a variety of Fun Zone attractions, retailers and restaurants. All activities begin at 5:30 and are $2.00 per person.

Take a walk-through Ocean Literacy!
Workshop participants will participate in an overview of the 7 Essential Principles of Ocean Literacy through hands-on activities and a boat ride around the harbor. Parents and siblings are welcome to join the boat tour for an additional $7.
Members: $12.00 or Non-Members:$15.00; advanced payment is required to confirm your reservation. A minimum of 5 children must be registered per program.

Let’s explore the oceans with the great explorer, Jaques Cousteau! You’ll travel throughout the world’s oceans and see many incredible things. You exploration will continue over a the touch tank and you’ll make you own diver to take home!
