Rosalind “Roz” Savage is a British rower and the first woman to row across three oceans: Pacific, Atlantic and Indian. A National Geographic Explorer of the Year, Roz uses her ocean rowing adventures to inspire action on the top environmental challenges facing the world today.
Our newest exhibition, Roz Savage – 5 Million Oar Strokes, chronicles Roz’s journey as she rowed across the Indian, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The goal of the exhibit is to connect with the explorer that lives within each of us. This amazing story is a perfect example of how everyday people accomplish extraordinary feats.
